Zachary Ryan Toole
June 7, 2000 - March 11, 2022
Zachary Ryan Toole has returned to live with his Heavenly Father. Words can’t express the thoughts and feelings of our hearts at this time. Though our family is overwhelmed with grief, we know it is by the Lord’s divine design that we were blessed to have Zach come into our family, that His hand is in every detail of our lives, and that He will continue to support and sustain us. Zach was born on June 7, 2000, in Phoenix, Arizona. The Lord placed him in our forever family through the miracle of adoption when he was 4 weeks old. He grew up in North Phoenix, where he attended Sunset Ridge Elementary School, Sandra Day O’Connor High School, and Glendale Community College for a brief time. With a spirit larger than life, Zach has filled our hearts with his hilarious wit, HUGE smile, often overly-adventurous spirit, and passion for life! He is fun-loving, compassionate, FEARLESS, and had dreams (almost) as big as his heart! Zach is the most genuine person, and once you’re his friend, you’re always his friend! Zach lived his life with an ALL-IN attitude! He was most passionate about his FAMILY, and his best friend/love, Smelly (Kelly)! He was obsessed with anything that has a board (Skate/Snow/Surf)! He loved anything outdoors, camping, hiking, and all kinds of critters. He could and would sleep anywhere (hammocks, bushes, snow…) Though just shy of 22 years, Zach’s life was packed with tons of adventure! Some of the highlights include: Graduating High School (this was a BIG deal), Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in Boy Scouts of America, Building his own long board with his Dad, Surfing in Puerto Rico and Hawaii, and Snowboarding black diamond runs in Snowbowl (Flagstaff, AZ), North Star (Lake Tahoe, CA), Park City (Park City, UT), Nordic Valley (Eden, UT), Mt Hood Meadows (Mt. Hood, OR), Timberline (Government Camp, OR), and Heavenly (South Lake Tahoe, CA) Zach is survived by his parents (Leigh and Becky), his brothers (Ricky, Matt, Jess) his sister (Tatum), the love of his life (Kelly), and his favorite creature/dog (Gus). He also leaves behind a loving extended family: grandparents (Larry & Nancy, Myra & George), aunts and uncles (Tracy & Greg, Linda & Lyman, Doug & Jody, Brian & Janelle, Brenda & Jose, Colleen & Steve, Darbie & Brad), cousins (Krystal, Kari & Austin, Kirsten, Katelyn, Trevor, Seth, Jace, Trey, Clint & Cailan, Brianna, Bentz, Rhett, Jenetta, Carissa, Jo’ella, Jacilynn & Joseph, Lani, Chase, Jake, Michael, Hailey, Brendan, Connor, Bryant & Jessica, Brittney & Dallan, Madison, Aliza, Dalton, Carter, Mallory, Taylor, Kole, Ross, Emma, Killian, Connelly). Our Family has confidence in our Savior’s plan for us, we will faithfully endure, and we know without a shadow of a doubt we will be together again! “And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before him; then shall I see his face with pleasure, and he will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father.” Enos 1:27 We invite you to celebrate Zach’s life with us on March 19, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 5104 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Glendale, AZ 85310, viewing at 10:00 am, services at 11:00 am. To honor him, if you have a pair of Vans PLEASE wear them. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Christian Family Care (a nonprofit foster/adoption agency) in Zach’s name at https://cfcare.org/ways-to-give/give-now/.
