Sybil Irene Nichols
January 26, 1940 - May 10, 2022
Sybil Irene Nichols born in Mesa Arizona on January 26, 1940 to Roy and Irene Workman and went back to her Heavenly home on May 10, 2022. Sybil could accomplish anything she set her mind to. She met Earl Nichols in high school and on June 20, 1957, they were married for time and eternity in Mesa Arizona Temple. He was truly her best friend and sweetheart. They had three daughters and later adopted two wonderful sons to complete their family. She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many positions. She was Relief Society President, scout leader, and many others, but her love was with the kids in Primary. She loved scouting and both her sons achieved Eagle Rank with her loving support. Sybil loved spending time with her family and planned many parties at home and on the Arizona desert. She loved the sunset as it shined down on the purple bushes and blooming flowers. Genealogy and Family History were her passion as she researched her families ancestors. One of her joys was serving in the Mesa Arizona Temple. She baked bread and always had an extra loaf to share with a neighbor, always valued service above self. She has survived by her sweetheart Earl, daughters Penny Pew (Leo), Tammy Wagner (John), Chris Randall (Lisle), sons, Burke Nichols (Charla), Warde Nichols (Paula), 16 grandkids, 75 great grandkids, sister Velma Human and brother Wade Workman, with many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Irene, brothers Bill, David and sister Judy. Sybil's legacy lives on!
