Linda Faye Schnetzer

Linda Faye Schnetzer Linda Faye Schnetzer is the youngest of two daughters born to Ernest Alden Schnetzer and Winnifred Minerva Locker. She joined their family on February 24, 1949 in Kansas city Missouri. She attended Oak Park high school in North Kansas City, graduating in 1968. After graduating she attended college in Kansas City to become a key punch operator. She met her future husband at school and became Mrs. Martinez. The couple lived in Durango where she gave birth to a stillborn baby. Shortly thereafter they divorced and Linda moved back to Kansas City. Linda lived in Pueblo, Colorado for a short time and then followed her mother and older sister Katherine, to Arizona. She worked for approximately 25 years at ASU in their information technology department. Linda is known for her beautiful Cross-stitch, creating numerous Christmas ornaments yearly for neighbors and friends. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed using her talents to create gifts for newborn babies in her congregation. She endured health challenges throughout her life, including foot surgeries and diabetes, yet in spite of these challenges was optimistic, cheerful, and happy, with an ever ready smile and endearing laughter. She was a good friend and enjoyed traveling, and playing cards and games with her friends.
