On November 29, 2021, our Beloved Gregory Kevin Sandoval passed away in Mesa, Arizona. He was born on April 15, 1973. Greg was Deneh, Tl’aachi’, Naki Dine’ from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Greg enjoyed being a Musician, Professional Artist: metalsmithing with bronze and silver designs; DJing as Music Producer/Mixer, Published Author, Writer, and Editor. He enjoyed mediating and studied Tibetan Buddhism. As an accomplished Artist, his most recent Recognition was winning the 50th Anniversary Cosanti Bell Design Contest. Greg’s many crowning Scholar achievements: a recipient of the prestigious Navajo Nation Chief Manuelito Scholarship in 1991, Full Scholarship Recipient from State of New Mexico. A graduate of Santa Fe Preparatory School of 1991. Attended University of Arizona to study Architecture. Greg was survived by his mother LaVerne Moreno, stepfather Leo Moreno, Brother Jerald Sandoval, nephews Melachi Sandoval and Jordan Sandoval, niece Desirae Sandoval. Aunties Margie Sandoval and Mary Lou Sandoval. Preceded in death by his father Herman Sandoval, grandmother Ida Holtsoi, paternal grandparents Felecita and Joe Sandoval, Uncle Raymond Secatero Jr., Great grandson of Purple Heart Code Talker Richard Platero, Partner Russell Pyner.
