Franklin George Mclaws, 75, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on February 17, 2021, after a difficult battle with the aftereffects of COVID 19. His son was present at his passing. He was born in Holbrook, Arizona, and graduated from Tempe High School. He served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Uruguay. He served his country in time of war by joining the United States Army for three years, stationed in Vietnam and stateside. He was a craftsman and artist who was known to make anything out of nothing. He was known for the service he provided to those around him. He loved his family and his extensive prayers for them still ring in the heavens. Frank is survived by his daughter, Alyssa; sons, Seth and Joseph; his siblings, Otis, David, Caroline, Kathy, Gail, Mandy & Darin; and 15 Grandchildren. Visitation will be held 6-8 pm on Wednesday, February 24, at Meldrum Mortuary, 52 N. MacDonald, Mesa. Family Services will be held on Thursday, February 25.
