Donald Fredrick Thompson Jr.

Donald Thompson, Jr., 67, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2021. Born and raised in Erie, PA, Don loved adventure, people, family and music. Although paralyzed at a young age, he lived a full, powerful and inspirational life. Graduating from Arizona State University with a degree Justice Studies, Don served others during his 26-year career as a probation officer in Maricopa County. His life was enriched by his family, co-workers and many friends who were a source of great joy and whom he loved dearly. Don was preceded in death by his parents, Don Sr. and Vera Thompson and a nephew, Isaiah Bartlebaugh. He is survived by his wife, Vivian, sisters Nancy (Pete) Stepnowski and Diane Thompson, brother Dale (Lynn) Thompson, and his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and great grandniece.
