On Thursday, September 02, 2021, Barry Dwight Wiessner, 68, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Mesa, Arizona. Barry was born on November 06 in Tempe, AZ to Charlies Milo Wiessner and Wilma Childress Wiessner. He attended Flora Thew Elementary School and graduated from McClintock High School. He loved to play guitar and was passionate about motorcycles. He built them, he worked on them, he raced them. Barry worked as a motorcycle mechanic, pipe fitter, and was a welder/fabricator for many years. Later in his career he held a welding contract with Motorola. He also owned and operated Motorcycle Performance and Machine which was dedicated to crafting precision, high-performance motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Klein Wiessner of Mesa, his son William Duane Wiessner of Gilbert, his daughter Katherine Wiessner (Jonathan) Denney of Tucson, his daughter Lea Wiessner Hunt Stivers of Arkansas and his brother Dean Turk of Mesa. He has several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters. A private Celebration of Life gathering will be held later to honor him. Barry’s abrupt departure creates a void that is impossible to fill. We will miss you dearly, Barry. We love you always.
