Ana Marilyn Crawford Hall (88) passed away in her home in Mesa, Arizona on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was born on May 4, 1932 in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Clifford Edwin Crawford and Grace Ana Clark. She was the oldest of three- Janice, Arvin and Carol. Ana attended schools in Blackfoot, Idaho, Opportunity, Washington and Cheney, Washington, graduating from Cheney High School. She attended LDS Business College in Salt Lake City, Utah and Brigham Young University. Ana married George Merrill Hall on April 17, 1953 in the Salt Lake City Temple. They have been married nearly 68 years and were blessed with 6 children- Sherrie, Larry, Vaughn, Dawn, Marilyn and Brent- as well as 19 grandchildren and over 70 great-grandchildren. Ana worked as a secretary at Beneficial Life Insurance Co. in Spokane, Washington for on-base housing and civil service at Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington as her husband George served in the United States Air Force. During her husband’s 22 years of service in the Air Force, Ana and her family had the opportunity to live in several places across the world, including England, Utah, Spain, and Texas. She and George moved to Mesa in 1973, where they both lived until their passing. Ana was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served two volunteer missions for the church with her husband George in Manchester and Birmingham, England respectively. She also served in various positions within the church, including Ward and Stake Relief Society Presidents. She loved talking about her faith and was always eager to share her belief with those she loved. She is preceded in death by her husband, George, her son Vaughn, her sister Carol Gilbert, and her parents. She is survived by her children, Sherrie Ellsworth, Larry (Sena), Dawn (John) Dyer, Marilyn (Leon) Button, and Brent, as well as her sister Janice Shaw and brother Arvin Crawford.
