Amanda Carranza

Amanda Carranza, 56 , of Chandler, Arizona passed away April 7, 2022 in Ahwatukee, Arizona. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on December 20, 1965 to Robert Baldwin and Beverly Jones. She was the youngest of 5 children and moved to Mesa, Arizona as a young child with her family and graduated from Mountain View High School. Amanda was a single mother to her 4 children whom she loved with all of her heart. She was an amazing mother, grandma, daughter, sister and friend. She loved everyone and hated to hold grudges. She would have done anything anyone, all they had to do was ask. She worked hard and did the same 2 jobs for over 20 years. She was truly a survivor and was such an inspiration to all those that knew and loved her. She enjoyed playing computer games, doing puzzles, reading books, watching movies and loved going to Disneyland. She absolutely loved spending time with her family and loved her grandchildren (her boys) with all of her heart. She is truly missed and will forever be in our hearts. Amanda is survived by her children, Megan (Ernesto), Trey, Tayler and Tianna, 3 grandsons Ernest, Henry and Abraham, her mother Beverly and her 3 sisters Melinda, Melisa and Suzie. She is proceeded in death by her father Robert, her brother Robin and her beloved dog Gizmo. Funeral services will be held on April 23, 2022 from 10am - 12pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter - Day Saints Mountain View Stake Center, 745 N. Val Vista, Mesa, Arizona 85205.
